Our clinics in Mordialloc & Somerville offer a variety of engaging therapy options for adults, children, and families to promote development and achieve their goals. Our clinical and non-clinical settings are designed to promote mental and emotional well-being through connection with horses, nature and the environment. As a neuro affirming Practice, we celebrate and embrace neurological differences, recognizing that all neurotypes have unique strengths, interests, and support needs. We are super excited to work with your family and help you smash your goals!
Early Intervention Programs
Early Intervention Occupational Therapy is a proactive approach that identifies and addresses developmental delays in children at the earliest possible stage. Recognizing and addressing these delays early on can significantly influence a child's physical, cognitive, and social development, setting a solid foundation for future learning and growth. Therapy4life occupational therapists work closely with families to achieve these goals.
In-Clinic Sensory Expereinces
We are absolutely thrilled to bring the joy of sensory experiences to children through Therapy4life. Our state-of-the-art OMI Projector and zpod create an immersive environment that will leave your child feeling engaged and excited. With our gross motor room, creative messy room and herb gardens, we provide a unique and fun way to help children with sensory integration.
Equine Assisted Learning Programs
Equine Assisted Learning is a unique approach to experiential learning, where participants are offered safe experiences with horses for the purpose of learning social and emotional skills, personal development, self-advocacy skills such as self-regulation, communication skills or team building.
Group Programs
At Therapy4life, we offer a range of group programs that take place at our picturesque farm in Somerville and our clinic in Mordialloc. These programs are created and led by occupational therapists who aim to foster connections, facilitate enjoyable activities, and support individuals with shared interests and objectives. Check out our September Holiday Program, available now.
Allied Health Assistants
An Allied Health Assistant (AHA) is trained and qualified to provide support to allied health practitioners by implementing programs. Our OT's will assess the individual initially and develop a therapy plan in collaboration with the family. The AHA will implement the therapy plan while seeking support and guidance from the OT.
Assistive Technology, Minor Home Modifications & Housing Reports
Therapy4life's occupational therapists can suggest and prescribe equipment or aids that can improve the independence and functioning of people with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals in different environments. By using modifications and equipment, individuals can learn, grow, and accomplish their objectives. Additionally, Therapy4life provides housing assessments and reports, but there may be a wait for these services.
