If you cant make your scheduled appointment ..
Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation fees comply with the current NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits. For a short notice cancellation, 100% of the fee associated with the scheduled session will be charged. Short notice is less than two (2) clear business days’ notice. If scheduled appointments are cancelled consistently, or more than 3 in a row, we may need to suspend future appointments so to offer the spot to someone on our waiting list. We ask that you please communicate any changes with us to ensure that this does not occur.
Please note you will receive a reminder text message the day before your scheduled appointment, the text is set for a last-minute reminder of your appointment time, not for the purposes of a late cancellation, cancellations at this point are still likely to incur a late cancellation fee.
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment
If an appointment can be rescheduled before the next scheduled appointment, no cancellation fee will apply. Or, instead of the appointment, the therapist can utilize the canceled session time to develop resources for the client, offer parent coaching sessions, or write reports with the consent of the parent/guardian. Speak to your OT if this is your preferences.
If your therapist needs to cancel a scheduled appointment
If a therapist needs to cancel an appointment, we will try to provide as much notice as we can. Our aim is to promptly reschedule appointments or when suitable, organize for another therapist to take the session. Our team have handover documents ready in case this is needed. The administrative team will contact the family by phone to discuss their preferences.
